In general, we need people with the following skill sets:
- Graphic designer—our designers primarily work on HTML and Flash websites, with occasional opportunities for logo development and print work; the ability to handcode HTML and CSS is strongly preferred
- Web developer/programmer—our programmers work on everything from basic website construction to web-based apps, custom Access databases, and more; we use both Open Source (PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, Ruby on Rails) and .NET (VB and C#, SQL)
- Server administrator—most of our clients run Microsoft Windows Server or Microsoft Small Business Server; Linux experience is a plus
- Technician—we regularly provide tech support services ranging from virus/spyware cleanups to backup solutions to software installation and more
- Project manager—since we run many projects simultaneously, it can be a challenge keeping tabs on everything that needs to be done.
As a small business, we all wear many hats. Our work depends on our clients’ needs, so candidates with multiple skills who enjoy variety will be the best fit. Internships are often available.
Current needs:
- Full-time Technician/Server Administrator (part-time may be an option depending on skill set and availability). Server experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Full-time or Part-time Administrative Assistant. We're seeking a highly organized individual with a friendly demeanor and excellent phone skills.
